Crash, casualty and ticket data
The Department for Transport recommends that we publish annual data relating to crashes and casualties at fixed safety camera sites.
Offence levels recorded at fixed, mobile, and average speed cameras for the last five years can be found here: Ticket data 2012 - 2016
Casualty figures (people killed and seriously injured before installation and in the last three years for which validated data is available) at both fixed and mobile safety camera sites can be found here: KSI DATA TABLE 2014 - 2016.
Fixed safety camera sites are located where three or more people have been killed or seriously injured over a 1.5km stretch of road, in the three years prior to installation.
Mobile safety camera sites are located where at least one person has been killed or seriously injured over a 5km stretch of road, in the three years prior to installation.
