How well do you know the limits?
If you know your Highway Code inside out or think you are the
perfect driver then now is your chance to prove it. The Kent
& Medway Safety Camera Partnership has re-launched its hugely
successful game show Know the Limits..
The show - a fun and interactive way to educate road users
- will tour the county at various shopping centres. Those who
know their stuff about speed limits, stopping distances and
safety cameras will get the chance to win a digital radio and
be entered into the free draw to win the ultimate media pack
prize comprising a digital camera, webcam and camcorder.
Drivers can also take part online at www.knowthelimits.org.
There is even a local radio version of Know the Limits where
the public can test their knowledge of the speed limits in their
own town and have a chance of winning a DAB digital radio.
Rachel Wall Communications Manager for the Partnership
said: “The success of previous Know the Limits
shows were so encouraging that we wanted to be able to bring
the event to more people. We have developed a fun, unique and
informative way of educating motorists about which speed limits
apply to which road and in which vehicle plus much, much more.
We hope that Know the Limits will put a smile on people’s
faces but also give useful information about how to stay safe
on our roads.”
