Vicki Butler-Henderson stars in new Partnership TV advert

A new television advert starring Fifth Gear presenter Vicki Butler-Henderson has been launched by the Partnership telling motorists about its new and improved website which highlights every camera location in the county allowing for drivers to slow down and avoid being photographed.

The new look website - www.kmscp.org - includes general information about the Partnership such as how it is funded, why it exists, the number of tickets issued per district and various other financial details. Each camera location is listed on an interactive map which details the number of those killed or seriously injured both before and after the camera was installed.

Rachel Moon Communications Manager said: "Every single camera in Kent and Medway has been installed to reduce death and serious injuries on our roads by deterring people from speeding, it is therefore important that motorists know where the cameras are so that they can slow down and avoid being photographed. As Miss Butler-Henderson states in the advert 'they (the Partnership) don't want your cash they just want you to slow down.' The website not only tells drivers where the cameras are located but also how they are funded, why they have been installed, how they work and much more."

The advert runs on Meridian Television until 22 January 2006.
